Apple set the agenda of the smartphone world as expected with the iPhone 16 series introduced last month. The company, which produces the most powerful phones in the industry, is already preparing for the iPhone 17, which it will introduce next year. Important sources from the industry have reached some information.
Standard iPhone 17 will have a 120Hz screen
Details about iPhone 17 are slowly coming to light. It seems that Apple will start to offer some innovations. As it is known, Apple still uses screens with a refresh rate of 60Hz in the standard models of the iPhone 16 series. This situation has led to great criticism, especially with the last series.
Displays with a refresh rate of 60Hz are almost non-existent in flagship level devices. It seems that Apple is now giving up this stubbornness. According to the information, the technology giant is preparing to use 120Hz ProMotion and Always-On displays in all models in the iPhone 17 series.
We expect the screen of the standard iPhone 17 model to have a 6.3-inch panel. The titanium case specific to Pro models will continue and the tradition of aluminium cases continues in standard models. In addition, it is among the information that artificial intelligence support will be at the highest level.
In the processor seat, we can see the A19 processor in the works. iPhone 17 Pro models are also expected to have A19 Pro. The processor will go through the 2nm production process. Expected to come with 8 GB of RAM, the device will have a 24 Megapixel selfie camera on the front. As expected, the series will take centre stage in September 2025.
